Just a quick post to say thanks to everyone on the forum who has proved to be extremely helpful and friendly so far in my search for my first Z3.

A special thanks to @Davester2.2sport for letting me come and have a nosey around his beautiful silver 2.2 sport, and even let me have a cheeky test drive. Was really helpful, and his car is in such mint condition it was amazing to see. A couple of shots of it below.

I'm also pleased to say I'm now the proud owner of this Estoril Blue 2.2 sport following a trip to Leicestershire on Saturday. There's a fair bit of work to be done to be done on it, but I'll get started with some easy wins and slowly work my way up to some of the larger jobs. Exciting to finally have one though, especially one I can continue the restoration of, which the previous owner had already started!

Yeah it’s not too bad. Bodywork is generally quite good. Interior is a bit tired though and needs some work, and I’ll give it a new good this summer too

Congrats on getting your new Z3. Welcome to being an "Owner"

Its a labour off love that is well worth the effort.
