Couple of issues regards plastic's and their up keep, struggled to bring back from a mucky shade of grey, the plastic panel around the wipers, think its called a flitch panel, but may be wrong. Really bugging me, tried various products including black shoe polish, some wonder stuff from China (Absolute rubbish) and the usual including Autoglym (the green jelly stuff) used in the past and does work on window rubbers etc. Tried a heat gun but a bit wary with that one and even looked at replacing but a bit steep at £197.
Finally some stuff that works, Maguires ultimate black, will see how long it lasts but for now looks really well.
Another plastic issue, both the Air box and fuse cover were looking a bit scratched and un loved. Initially sprayed them with standard auto motive aerosol but not happy then tried a carbon fibre wrap still not keen.
So decided to try another paint job this time with a specific plastic paint called Liquitex Carbon black. This I can highly recommend the finish is superb and as close to factory fresh as you can get, well pleased so treat the engine bay to a clean, finishing off with some newly acquired Aerospace 303 protectant.
Think it needs some exercise now
