Technically I’ve already introduced myself, but this is more an intro to my wheels, so I’ve finally found & taken delivery of my Z4, it’s a 2006 3.0Si Sport auto with 44,500 miles on it.

Night Blue metallic with pearl leather - It has SatNav, 6 speed with paddle shift, heated, electric memory seats, cup holders, cruise control and Xenon lights.

It also apparently has M Sport Suspension,M Leather Steering Wheel, Electric M Sport Seats and M Wheels, (but M sport cupholders).

I would like to say thank you again to @Lazzydog, @AleNod, @Paul and especially @t-tony who gave up several hours of his time and trusted me with his car for a fabulous couple of hour drive which defo made up my mind.

Upgrade/changes I’m planning :-
· Parrot MKi9200 bluetooth adaptor
· DRLs with controller
· Headlight eyebrows
· USB power output
· Front skirt protector
· Gaptec RCH unit
· Centre console/armrest
· Cup holders (not sure if I mentioned it before, but it hasn’t got any)

It doesn’t have run flat tyres, so I’d be interested in what I should carry in the way of compressor, pump up stuff etc.

Hi mate welcome to the fold. Nice buy that, very good spec with the flip up sat nav and HID's.

P.S cup holders are far left/right under the vents they work on a ratchet mech :D.

Cheers Tony, you were a massive help with making my decision, I'd love to pop up but unfortunately helping my daughter move into a new flat this weekend :)()

However next weekend could be a possibility if you're free, would love you to have a look and a go in it to see what you think.

AND, because it has cup holders you wont need to spoil the armrest cushion by having a bloody great hole in it. You know my thoughts on cup holders anyway.;)=))

Good to know Lee, one of the first things I want to do is fit a Parrot Mki9200 unit, do you have any instruction on getting behind the dash etc ?

All the panels pop/clip in place. @GazHyde knows the dash setup inside and out. He swapped a complete interior once.

It's a relatively easy dash to pull apart, starting with the centre vents. All depends where abouts you need to get to...

Just remember to close them before you get out of the car, or you will be buying news ones, they are just perfect knee height ;)

Looking at vids of Parrot installs seems to be the back of the unit, however I'm having 2nd thoughts about it.

I'm now thinking of ripping the whole lot out and replacing with a blanking plate and a nice Kenwood unit.

My only concern is how much impact would that have on whats going on on the dash, I'm probably wrong but seems the only way of adjusting the time on the dash clock is via the main control unit, makes me wonder how much else I would be surgically removing, anyone have any idea what the affect of removing the radio/computer/satnav would be ?
