so looking around the Z8 at BMW HQ last week and saw many similarities between it and the Z but Wu g extra refinements - one that caught my eye was that whilst it has the same style of rubber seals where it meets the window it has some very thin felt tape applied.
I noticed this in a Merc coupe today too.
Got me thinking this must be to help cure wind rustle which is quite prevelant especially around the rubber they curves behind you ear.
So anyone know what type of tape this could be and where to buy?
Looks very thin. I imagine too thick and it could saturate with water and bleed into the car.
