Love it when Sunday mornings start like this

forced into going out top down as it was sunny and Stevo set the AA box challenge. York to Aysgarth on the back roads past these folly's

. Taking in the Aysgarth AA box, still in its original position

. Then right at the falls and up to Castle Bolton

over the tank roads to Catterick Garrion then back roads to Stokesley, Chopgate, Rievaulx to Helmsley , known locally as the mini TT

Chopgate road is known locally as the mini TT, when you've driven it you'll see why! pictures don't do it justice

Helmsley, Hovingham, Malton then down Garrowby Hill to the AA box and home

Great write up nice to see you got into the spirit of it hope you enjoyed your day out.
Great to see the first picture is the trusty road map all my Scottish runs start on that ( before look on Google maps and street view before recce) so my map now has a number of pages that look like this where i have used different pens to mark the route.
