Anyone have any experience of these on a Z3 ?
Just wondered as they're the cheapest of 3 different manufacturers I'm looking at for a set of 4.

I've used Falkens on my Z3 M Coupes since 2006 after talking with a guy from BMWCC who has the same car and uses his on the Ring, he's also a track instructor. As he said there are better tyres say for outright grip, wet grip, etc but as a value for money all round tyre he was very happy with them. I started with FK 452 on my first Coupe, on my second Coupe I've got Falken FK453 235/45 98Y R17 on the front & Falken FK453 255/40 98Y R17 on the rear. They done 16k miles and still got some life in them.

I have Falken XE914 Ecoruns fitted to rear wheels. They have done ~14k so far and I have had no problems but I don't `burn rubber' these days. Haven't measured tread recently but there is still plenty there.

I had Falkens all round on my Z3, now on a fellow Z3 owners car. Improve handling and reduce tram lining really suited car and looked to be wearing well.

Which site are you looking for tyres? The best range and prices is from tyreleader.co.uk and you can select a local garage to have them delivered to for fitment. Huge selection and best prices.

I looked on black circles where you can also use a local garage from their list.
One of them is a garage I've used a few times and l feel I can trust them, so I called them direct and they are cheaper than going through b.c.

Are the Falkens assymetric? All tyres seem to be and I want non assym. so they can be switched from side to side to even camber wear on the rears. Seems hard to get such tyres now, someone once said assym can induce tramlining?

P.S Uniroyal always seem well priced with class A wet grip, probably not so hot on the tyre life though in mileage terms.

I don't know Adrian, never thought about that but it's a very good point.
The Hankooks are not aysemetric so can be switched round as I have done with the rears to even out the wear and gain longer useable life from them.
