Silver Zed failed MOT today. I've only driven about 900 miles since the last one and thought it would sail through. Nothing too major though, broken front spring, leak on power steering pipe and headlight levelling not working apparently, although it is working now. I've got spare springs and a set of spare headlights but have to admit I've never worked on power steering before.

I was expecting the advisories relating to corroded sills and suspension arms as these are on my list for upgrading this summer

We used to get our work vans serviced there.
Happy to pitch in if you need a hand!

Thank you for offering to help. I should be ok though. I've fitted new springs to my other Zed so I'm familiar with how it comes apart and goes back together and I've got a decent set of spring compressing clamps. The fiddly job is the power steering hoses. I've never done this before but it shouldn't be too hard.
If anyone's got any tips to make it easier it would be appreciated

If the car has a levelling control, it has to work.

There was a time when you simply had to test the aim as it came in, you didn't even have to check it was on max. high.

Easy to say when you're not the person who has to sign the certificate . I would agree with the sentiment but a tester can't test a car based on what he/she "thinks" is right.
