Are there different types of face-lift headlights with the clear indicators?

I had the normal orange ones on my car and the light was really good at night. Changed to a set of halo projection ones and they look great but the light projection socks compared to the stock ones with good bulbs.

I then bought a pair of face-lift ones and they are junk and the seller is giving me a hard time about returning them. Several tabs broken and it looks like monster ripped the back out of one removing a bulb.

So I am still not happy with the after market ones and back on the hunt for a good pair of face-lift ones. Just not sure if there are different types if I buy them separately.

Some have chrome rings around the lights, some don’t.

Other than that, I believe they are the same

I have some nice ones

I have a good pair of front lights with orange indicators if you are interested. Let me know and I can send you photos, from a Prefacelift but I believe they are the same, unless anyone knows differently

From memory, the pre-facelift has orange indicators, black outer rings, glass lenses and provision for sidelights (before the move to the front bumper).
Early facelift (2.0 & 2.8) has orange indicators, chrome outer rings and plastic lenses. Later facelift (2.2 & 3.0) have clear indicators, chrome outer rings and plastic lenses. M's have clear indicators, not sure about the 1.8/1.9.

You can split your headlights, remove the orange lenses and install silvered orange bulbs.
