The 1.9 cheap ebay systems are a fantastic bargain. My brother has one on his.

But the 6 cylinder exhaust are a very different matter cost wise.

If it helps I have a 2.2 system here but I think that is unique to that engine. I'm happy to cut it and sell sections from it if that would do the job. I'm not looking for big money. But you would need to arrange a courier or collect.

Hello and welcome from Truro

I have a pre facelift 2.8 and have fitted a cheap German made cat back exhaust from an Ebay seller. Only cost around £150 delivered. Ordered on Sunday and was delivered the following Wednesday. Didn't pay any import duty or taxes as it came from within EU. Nothing wrong with the quality either, and it's now gone through 3 MOT's.

I'm pretty sure the pre facelift 2.8 shares the same exhaust as the 1.9.

Facelift 2.8 have a different exhaust system.

Hello John and welcome to the forum. This was my reply to a similar question that was asked a short time ago. Hope it helps.

Although the exhausts were stainless steel it was not the high grade (last foreveer) stuff. Welded areas do corrode and both ends of the resonator box (little middle section) on my 2.8 were blowing slightly.
I hade this section cut out and my local indy made up a sleeved section to replace it. Cost me about £60 but he was doing other work so exact cost is not clear.
The result is a slight increae in "boom" at 1500-2000 rpm and a reduction in noise at 3000 rpm. At motorway speed there is very little engine/exhaust noise (a bonus for me), but the soundtrack is still the same for acceleration and over-run. Emissions seem unchanged as expected. Not sure if you would get similar resulrs with other engines.
This repair should last a few years but I expect that it will corrode again and require further work.

Hi, sorry don't remember where my exhaust came from , you could try an independent tyre and exhaust centre for prices but if ordering from ebay make sure it will fit a 2.8 if my memory serves correct a member on here ordered what turned out to be a 1.9 140bhp and it was about 4 inches to short for preface 2.8
