Supersprint Racing with x-pipe. First part of vid is the cold start, ignore the numpty walking across the video. Need to do some throttle blips but the oil wasn't up to temperature when I did these.

Mine's "Magic".
Ok. That's not the name of an exhaust but mine's started doing that magic trick - you know the one where the magician pulls a never ending length of ribbon out of his mouth.
No idea how they got so much ribbon inside that little silencer.
So it's getting louder and starting to get on me nerves so will be looking for a new "Quiet" one soon.

Have at this one then, my first 2.0 with an Eisenmann back box.I’ve never tapped faster into a forum thread than this one.. always love hearing an exhaust note, though slightly disappointed by only seeing a few in here.. I’m stock so far but will add one in tomorrow for the sake of it haha

I would really like to replace mine, but the frugal part of me struggles with replacing an exhaust system that's only got 7,000 miles and only fair weather driving on it.
I'd love something with just a bit more growl to it though....

They’re all bolt-on parts so you can always refit the original and sell on the sport one.

A valid point. Maybe I'll start working on the Mrs. about that. I'm looking at the Magnaflow cat back kit. I don't want loud, don't want an annoying drone on the highway, but I'd like a bit more throaty growl. Vids I've listened to sound like what I'm looking for. Plus it's all SS and lighter than the factory exhaust.
It's next on my wanted list on my E89 23i, I just wants it's voice to be heard nothing like the things we've been listening to in Florida the last 2 weeks.

OK, bit the bullet and ordered the Magnaflow catback system (#16465). I got NAPA to discount it and free shipping. My son says he'll help me install...may be able to use his friend's lift if the exhaust comes before his friend moves. I'll post a before and after video of how it sounds and looks.
