Hi everyone, m Z3 1.9 M43 has a small leak on the seam of the small centre exhaust resonator box, I looked on line and new exhausts seem to come in two pieces, the front pipe with the cat and the rear section with the part I need and the main rear silencer.
Looking under my car the exhaust looks to be in one piece from the manifold back, I really just want to replace the rear section has anyone done this by cutting and sleeving etc. The new exhausts seem to join with a two bolt flange with little straight pipe to fit a sleeve over.
I dont mind replacing the whole system but dont know how difficult the flange studs/nuts are to remove , cant see them easily at least not from above. I suppose the original exhaust has done well considering it is over fifteen year old.
Any suggestions welcome
