Yes - in 2 halves PeterF or maybe 2/3 and 1/3 dimensionally.
As always depends on your Budget and how long you intend to keep the car.
I've put a stainless Cobra Cat back on mine (expect to pay ~£350) - others have used Longlife (similar price) but with advantage that installer can tune volume.
I've then replaced front/cat with a React from CP4L - I recall about £120 with 3 year guarantee.
Stand-by for other opinions ;)

Thanks for the info, on my car the exhaust is in one piece from the manifold to the tail pipe, I presume it is the original on the car. the exhaust is blowing along the seam of the small resonator box so it would mean replacing the whole system as the two pieces are clamped together with a flange or cutting the exhaust in half and somehow clamping a new rear section on. I dont mind replacing the whole system if there is access to the manifold nuts.
dont want to go down the stainless route as I have done this in the past with an Alfa Brera I once had and it made a terrible droning noise at certain revs , it was so bad that I got rid of the car. I just want the standard system, any recommended suppliers?

Any info appreciated, thanks

I put a LongLife back box on and the drone was terrible and local branch would not change it so took it to head office who changed it for one that sounds good for a 1.9. Geoff
