New plugs should be here today, ended up going for twin tops instead of Bosch super 4's

Is it wrong to be excited because it's meant to be roof down weather this weekend ;)

I feel a bit sad for actually enjoying doing an oil change on my Z3.
Although it wasn't so exciting on my Ferrari....the oil filter cost £300 :-(

Ferrari had stopped making oil filters and as only 24 of the cars were sold in the UK nobody else was going to start making filters.
A company in ltaly had bought up all the stock and were basically selling for what they could get.
The price from Ferrari had been about £25.

I checked the oil level when l first bought it and it was off the bottom of the dip stick. I had to put three litres in before it read to the low marker.
Then l read the handbook...."dry sump engine, oil level must be checked with the engine running...."
Oh....l carefully loosened the drain plug to drop some oil out and it fell into the oil catch tray l'd placed underneath, so l lost the lot. Had to refill it completely which cost £80.
