went to classic car show today and there was this brand new mgb it looked beautiful. It was also electric.

Much of the fun of a MGB is the sound of the engine, transmission, fuel pump etc. Electricity is for washing machines.

Much of the fun of an MGB is the periodic lack of noise from the engine etc because the f***ing thing's broken AGAIN. Go on, ask me how I know.

Perhaps I should point out that the B in question wasn't mine. Had to go and rescue it several times, though. It's still in bits being "restored" now. And has been for several years.
