New Member Here,

Well purchased a Z3 1.9 m44 bout a year and half ago, head gasket gone, well I finally have a chance to get the job done, tidying up garage first, so hopefully can get some advice for you expierenced owners

Good luck with the head gasket. There are quite a few members on here that have done this. Sure they will be able to help / advise if needed.

No real problems with the M44 just make sure the cams are locked in place so no issues with timing when you put it back together.
Would change water pump and thermostat whilst you have it stripped down, also change head bolts as these are stretch bolts and not really re usable.

Morning Paul, thanks for the message, yes Rads out, pump off, inlet manifold off, noticed a lot of the small rubber hoses are showing sides of perishing, exhaust next,hopefully this week some time
