As per title just thought I would post this and see what the best cover is on offer as we have a large traveling community on here come on guys who can provide the best coverfor our little trip to France

I can't get cover (rac) Baz as the car is over 10 years old. Best bet is to have a few hundred in euros as a contingency just incase.

As I have said before, you live on an island, over here you get automatic cover for the EU.
Probably not for the UK anymore after Brexit.

I think it will be a case of trying different ones to find who does older cars then once found just check who the underwriters are and if they are a reputable company go for them. I use Start Rescue who is underwritten by Ageas Insurance

Bought a single trip policy from them a few years ago but fortunately never had to use it.
Have had Green Flag previously -think they cover up to 17 years -broke down in Sicily one year and they were superb.
