European Breakdown Cover

Hi, I have a 1998 Z3 and I am looking for good and reasonably priced European breakdown cover. Currently only have UK due to Covid Situation over last year but as things open up may fancy a couple of trips abroad. Does any have this or can they recommend anywhere....thankyou

It depends on the value you place on your car. If potential repair costs and or repatriation of your car are higher than perceived value it's easy for insurers to write it off. So you can either get cheap insurance , but risk losing your car or take out more expensive with a guarantee to bring your car back if necessary.

Thankyou for reply, just want basic breakdown cover to get us to a garage and hotel etc....some crazy prices out there...

I have purchased ETA Services Ltd insurance for single trip European cover in the past. Never had to claim.

Always used the AA for over seas but Eurotunnel do one just as good and half the price that I booked for last year but couldn't use and was fully refunded without a quibble. Beware a lot don't cover cars over 15yrs old. (small print)

Looks like the Eurotunnel breakdown cover doesn't include cars over 15 years old now
