I don't drink! The shorter option for money reasons is best for me too @pgunter. Only be back from dubai a couple of months before so money will be tight.

Aaaahh, straight out of "the Englismans bumper book of excuses" heard them all before =))=))=))
Excuses Hugh, you can't beat Milk, its good for you I'll have you know. In any case I expect Sandy will be on the hard stuff. A single Malt. By the time she's finished her first bottle you'll wish you had never mentioned the words "would you like another one Sandy" And if her and Michelle drink together, their will be a lot of sheepish men feeling their way down to breakfast the following morning. I'll stick to milk.

Listen up Alf Garnett, I will have you know that the stuff over here is not the same as the pish we export over to you......;)
(Except for Heineken, as a while back, they decided to make the recipe the same world wide, i.e. export pish)
I will not touch it in the bottled form...:wtf:

I agree begrudgingly @HT!! lol. There are so many real good one's and I don't know why Heineken went with the world wide crap they now make. Tried one not long ago and couldn't get past the first sip!! JIM

Well the best beer used to be Gales HSB... ( Horndean Special Brew ) But fullers purchased the Gales brewery and then started to make it in London.. the water changed the taste completely.. I will agree with you Mike, IPA is a great drink. But if you really want something special .. Look for Norfolk Dark, a strong winter ale. and its from your Fenns... lol..

As for Whisky... well I am a member of the Scottish Malt Whisky Distillers Association. So that should give you a clue.. I have a few 20 to 30 year old bottles unopened here. Unblended and as they came from the barrel. and before you ask.. no they are not being opened. Well one that was put in a barrel in 1966 will get opened when I retire.. lol. The others will have to be drunk when I feel like it. haha.. If you want a bottle, ask your other half what she prefers.. Highland, Island or Low Land Malt .. and what sort of strength. I will select one for her and maybe bring it along on the Euro Trip.
