Spotted at Thornbury lights A38 at 08:30....didn't let on as I was in the work hack, the driver was a bloke and it may have been erm....... misconstrued....
You tell that to the group of 15 or so MX-5 owners Duncan and I passed on the West Country Cruse. We waved at the first few, got nothing back except one of them shouting "you're in the wrong car mate".Nothing wrong with being friendly
Which set off those exquisite red alloys! Here is the first entry, style in the sun, a particular original car, one for the enthusiasts, love the whitish walls:

Lovely sentiment, i was always bought up to respect your elders, shame it's not followed by today's youth! When I was child my mother told me that when I say hello to somebody I pay respect first to myself, so doesn't matter if it's answered or not, I keep saluting ignorant peoples...now I'm too old to give up!
its the same with my T5, no one fails to wave, anf it gives you a buzz to get one back, especially the kids.....I second that emotion. I guess the MX5 owners love their steeds as much as we love ours, but a smile costs nothing, and a wave to recognize a shared love of top down driving in any car gladdens the heart.
The other week I was driving on the Cawston Road from Aylsham when I spotted another Z3 coming the opposite way. I immediately put my hand up over the screen and gave them a wave and a smile. I got 2 beaming smiles and vigorous waves back. The good feeling I got from that? Free, but priceless!
Bonzo.
