I've decided on 3 styles of wheels I want to replace my current ones with, so have been scouring the usual for sale sites for them. Came across this advert for a set of split rim style 71's from the E46 Club Sport.

Have a look at the pictures...

"They have all been powder coated
Fitted with new 225/40/18 front tyres,and 255/35/18 rear tyres
They do not come with centre badges"

Lazy gits, and they want £700 for the set...

Er ouch! Don't really know my wheels to well but seems a lot and don't they look a be too sparkly? JMHO of course.

It's not the shininess of them, it's that they powder coated them without splitting the rims...

The once happened to me with a set of AC Schnitzer wheels, sent them in for a full strip down and refurb and they came back like this: -

I very nearly did cry. after a bit of fighting with the company and many months later……

Only the faces have been treated, you can see the overspray through the spokes, somehow they look plastic!

P.S. Did not pay that much for my new Rondalls!

Fail - on many levels
