Has anyone any brand preference for 5W30 engine oil? Pro's and Con's?

After reading hundreds of posts here and there I settled for 5w40 Castrol Edge. It meets BMW standards [BMW001] so its good enough for me. I wait until it is 40% off and buy it in preparation for the next oil change. I also use it in my Suzuki. As long as it meets the standard who cares what name is on it - well that's my attitude on it!

My indy uses Castrol Magnatec 10W 40 in my M44 engine. (no idea if there is any difference to the Castrol Edge, both are fully synthetic).
On all the zeds I use Fuchs Titan, we track our cars so the oil gets very warm. I order from Opie oils, don't forget we get %10 off code.
