Engine light/help

Last night the yellow engine light came on.

The car seems to be running well.

I put a code reader on it this morning and it read, 44 activation solenoid valve tank ventilation.

Obviously I can take it to the main dealer but before I do has anyone experienced this and what exactly is it?

Check the fuel tank filler cap is tight and the rubber gasket on the filler cap is in good order and seals ok when screwed on. Common problem when left loose after filling up. Reset the EML by deleting the code with your code reader and see if it returns.

I've not see this one before. But being curious for that reason I googled it and this offers a potential explanation.

You'll just have to track down where it lives on a Z3. Not sure to be honest.
