Ellipsoid wheel centres

I'm looking to replace my wheels centres on my ellipsoid wheels and need to know what size the centres are. I think they are 68mm but I would like someone to confirm this. I know I can measure them but they will break as I pull them out ( I have already had a go) and I don't want to be riding about without the centres until I get the new ones.

As far as I can tell the Z4's are 68mm. I'm thinking of getting a set of Ellipsoids for mine, lovely looking wheels.

Can't you jack the car up, remove the wheel and push the centres out from the inside?
There may be a build up of crud and corrosion in there which is best removed before inserting new centres anyway.

changed mine richard.

i would only recommend oem ones.

the others dont fit properly and discolour quite quickly.

Sadly I have to report that I bought OEM and although the fit is good, they have corroded very quickly

The centre caps are 68mm, they had a face lift later on to include a chrome ring around the logo part number 36136783536.

They are £9.35 each from the dealer, so cheaper than ebay offerings apart from these:

i have the chrome ring ones,

they seem a lot better at keeping water out.

mine look like new still after a year or so.

you wont go wrong with them.
