I need to replace most of the terminals in the seat connectors, either corroded or the wires have snapped. Looks to me like a 2.5mm te, except I can't find a stockist who still has them. All out of stock or discontinued.
The dealer can get them as a whole replacement socket but the price is hilarious.
Failing that I'll just fit aftermarket sockets.
Thanks.

The housing and crimps are AMP parts ( Part of the Tyco group, which then became TE). These parts are ‘owned’ by BMW and are not available to other distributors. I did try to get some for mine when I did a heated seat retrofit, but impossible and BMW wont sell them either.
The heat pads I bought came with lots of wiring, relays switches and connectors that I didnt actually require, so I cut off the 4 way socket under the seat and soldered on some of the crimped wires from the parts supplied and ended up with just one 4 way connector under each seat to keep it all neat. All works well and had no problems.

I have one pair of the 4 way and lots of two way left over. The crimps are easily removed from the housings so could be matched up to give you plug and socket mating halves.

You are welcome to them if they are of any use to you.

Just thought about this and I have assumed it was the heated seat connectors....if it the wiring to the motors and seat adjuster switch, the you might find one of the breakers could help (@spurs fan in a coupe , @Synclare or @mrscalex )

Cheers gents, ordered some of those terminals. If they don't quite fit I have plenty of aftermarket connectors I can substitute and tie wrap to the frame.

Mazza was it the eBay type seat pads you used? I have to take the seats apart to sort the tilt mechanism so thought of fitting the eBay hexagon pattern pads with original switches if I can find a pair of switches cheap.

Yes, just bought a set off ebay, and fitted a pair of switches, and a relay . Check also that the two fuses are installed in your car. Plus had to mod the black 4 way plugs under the seats to mate with the pad connectors.

I've found the AMP connectors is a bit of a murky world. In theory they are all obtainable from BMW. But it can take an age working out which ones you actually need as realoem shows the connectors but not where they are used.

And the problem with buying from breakers is you usually need the seat side as well as the floor side for making up harnesses. Most breakers will cut the floor end off as it's rare they will sell a whole loom. But no breaker wants to cut off ends from the seat side usually. They are looking to sell the whole seat.

Cheers guys, I'll let you know once these terminals arrive. The dealer mentioned "around £15" but had to check availability. I'm not paying that, whole aftermarket sockets with terminals are £1.60 ish.
Need to order some of those seatpads, plans changed quite a bit on this car so need to add as much as possible.
