Electric roof not working

hey everybody, yesterday my roof went up and down fine, today nothing, I can't get the roof down (such a beautiful day too), I've checked the fuse and that hasn't blown, anyone got any ideas please? TIA

There is a manual release on the pump in the boot. Left side behind the carpet is the pump and on top is a T key turn this and you will be able to drop the roof.
Check the brake lights come on when you press the pedal as could be a faulty switch

Mine doesn't work at all, just manually. Mind you, neither does it have any switches (micro or otherwise), motor or associated wiring. Less can be more sometimes I think!
That said, our E36 convertible is fully automatic, just press a button and it all happens. Great until something goes wrong.
