Hi Guys
I am currently converting my roof to electric, i have a 2002 Roadster Z3 and a donor / breaker 2002.
The breaker has a good working electric roof so i am transplanting the parts over to convert my manual to electric.

I have so far installed the microswitch / bracket to roof
The roof button in the centre console
the oil pump in boot
both hoses
the lifter that pushes the roof up
however i am getting no signs of life from it

have i missed anything like a motor or something?

Also
In the oil pump whatr fluid goes in there as id like to renew it if poss preventative maintenance

thanks

The brake pedal must be applied have you done that and lifted the roof to make sure the micro switch is disengaged?
