Looking at the rest of their stock Ian, I would suspect it's the latter of the two.:)

And it's definitely no loss leader either.

Wow thats a crazy price! My car had half the miles with full service history for a fraction of that price. Dont think thats very realistic.:writing:

You could have just as much fun in mine with the benefit of a hard top as well for just over a quarter of that!
But still no calls
Funny thing selling motors

Your a grand or 2 off there
I check both sites daily and that is about the average price they've sold for over the past year and a half. That said there have been some lower and some higher but on average I can get myself in one for the money I stated! If only I had that sitting around! JIM

The thing is JIM as you know it's all about condition and service history.
From the looks of the one at the top it ticks all the boxes...this is the one I'm referring to.
But as you know a cars only worth what someone is willing to pay....or what someone is willing to let it go for.
The M coupe lads have held out for better prices and it's worked

You have to bid it up to find out!! lol JIM
Jim like it !!
1) I do not have any spare cash anywhere near that amount
2) Know my luck if I start that game I'll end up being the highest bidder and winning it =))

As swamper says its all about what people are willing to pay, but I find it hard to believe that these guys think its worth this sort of cash!!
I suppose they have nothing to loose by sticking it up for this amount on the punt that some mug may pay it!

My guess, based on prices in UK AND USA!! £5500-6500.
I check the various sites also to see if there are any for sale for the 5500 mark with sub 100000 just in case mine at 5500 with hardtop and 147000 is over priced but can never find any , yes the second eBay one has a bid at 5000 but reserve not met , so I can't see the above bracket being a fair average
If it is right I might as well break mine it would be worth more!

Don't forget guys I'm including the USA Not just UK. And if I'd wanted over the last year and a half of noting prices I stand by the average being as stated.
DAS I can't understand why you car hasn't sold even without the hardtop. You don't want to get into taking your car apart out of frustration do you. What a hassle that could be and the time and effort would, I'm sure out way the good.
The question raised was for an opinion and I've given mine, I'm not arguing values just stating my view. JIM

Was not meaning to come across like I'm arguing as I am not , always interested to hear people opinions that's what makes forums a good source of information
Would not break the car under any circumstances as its just to nice not mint but still bloody nice ,it will sell for the money I want I'm sure and when it does the person will be on here saying what a steal it was
