easy source for a switched live

Hi All,

can anyone recommend an easy place to get a switched live from under the centre console?

looking to tweak the wiring of my new USB port but want a switched live as the existing cigar lighter wiring is a permanent live.

That's a permanent live hence the problem, i need it to be switched with the ignition.

Head unit will have permanent like and a switched live Tim. I used that for my dash cam live in my Z3.

thanks Tony, bit worried about running too much through the stereo wiring but that's definitely an option
