Still seems a bit low, bearing in mind it was in the charts for donkeys years all over the world. But what the hell, if compilation albums count then I shall just ignore the charts. Again. Music was better when I were a lad etc, walks off muttering.

Bat Out of Hell was in the top 20 album charts for years so surely it must be somewhere near the top of the all time best sellers?

Shirl bought me "Hotel California" on cassette when I was 21 Mike, along with a whole case full of others, I still have them all now, 31 years later.

No mate, the 8 track were called cartridges. Proper name for the cassette was " musicassette" but it got shortened.
