Been looking for a long long time. Eventually found what seems to be a 3D printed version from somebody on another forum - it's one of the ashtray replacement jobbies (there seem to be a few of them around). He'd found two, fitted one and sold me the other one (so sorry, no more before anyone asks).
I've fitted it. Mostly. Few comments . . .
I think it leaves a bit of a gap with the trim (where the ashtray hinge mechanism obscures the trim line). We'll see if it annoys me . . .
This one comes with a cigarette lighter hole which cures another problem (most I've seen don't). Do you think I can get the old cigarette lighter socket out of the old ashtray - can I chuff. I've seen the various youtubes about pressing in the two little side clips and/or levering up the metal surround. Can't do either, will have a bash another day . . . Unless someone has some really useful advice on which bit to lean on.
The cupholder takes a little more space than the ashtray used to. Underneath the gear lever leather shroud, there's a rubber/foam one that presses in to the underside of the cupholder. If I retain this I may trim that back a bit.
Bottle sizes. Let's face it, they're small. Takes a small 340 ml bottle or can (pretend its a Pepsi, for illustrative purposes only).
Larger bottles shown for comparison. Not sure that's going to fly . . .
Anyway, hopefully this shows people a little of what these 3D printed ashtray replacement cup holders look like . . .
