Afternoon Chaps doing some mot work atm , made some replacement hard lines on the front , new flexi and caliph as the last bleed nipple sheared on me.
Handbrake was only 14% on the test so have removed the discs and cleaned them up and scuffed up the shoes the problem I’m having is with the tension release under the handbrake mechanism,I’ve watched youtube videos and they make it look so easy but I just cannot get the spring back far enough to engage with whatever holds it in place!
All the advice is to do the adjustment with this in place to take the tension off the cables , is it necessary or can I just adjust the shoes as normal? TIA
