E85 roof not latching on in open position

Any advice please?

The roof of my E85 retracts, but doesn't latch on meaning the red light starts flashing. If I push down on the roof it will lock in place, and then releases fine when I press the close button. Any common checks as to how I get it to latch in the open position again?

How's the rest of the roof operating? Both sides going up/down evenly and quickly?
If it seems like one side is going down uneven or the roof isn't going up/down as quickly as it should, could be a leak in the hydraulic line somewhere or the pump may not be working at full pressure, keeping the roof from reaching the point where it locks into place.

Did moves smoothly, quickly and evenly. Pump was relocated to the boot by previous owner and there's no sign of leaking around it and fluid level looks ok.
