E46 armrest

well. I bought an e46 armrest off eBay and decided I’ll make it fit.

So here it is

Was £15 off eBay.

Just need to put a couple of rubber grommets under the front screws to raise it 5 mm so it sits a little more level

How did you fix it to the centre console?

Chopped the base of the arm rest down and used to black bmw brackets to fix into the arm rest and the centre console. Using black bmw fixings.
Now I’m making a black backing to hide all fixings and the back of it. So it looks as factory as possible

I cant find my pics for the fixings but I used 3 rivnuts in the plastic of the arm rest and bolted it from the underside so no fixings can be seen and it looks perfectly like I'd should be there, it also solid
