Morning all, I've seen on here some threads about retrofitting an E36 armrest to fit. I have read through the threads but looking to see if anyone has some actual images of the fittings they used to secure it to the centre console and how exactly you did it. I want to DIY do it but dont want to tear up my centre console making mistakes, and want to do it with the least amount of removal of any trim!

Many thanks,

Made mine using some shaped MDF with a wood block underneath that fits into the trinket tray on the centre console. Covered with some foam and some leather off cut I had which was white, used some colour matched leather paint I already had for restoring my seat bolster and it came out great. Will see if I can get some pictures and add them in to this post.
