E36 318is front strut brace on Z3 1.9?

I am one click away from buying this babe... except I am only 95% certain it will fit the Zed.

I think other people have used 3 series braces and have to modify them for the aux battery terminal on the strut tower.
At that price (approx. £130), you could probably buy a Z3 specific brace from the UK or US and ship it (not air freight) Japan.
