hi can anyone tell me where the e.w.s. module is on a 2000 z3 ...if replace mine with only 1 key for another one with 3 keys will it work ? if so then ive saved having keys cut & transponder reprogrammed.

Its behind the glovebox..Not on its own the DME is coded to it and if you swap then you will probably have a lot of work to do in NCSexpert.. It easier to get keys cut..
I'm in the same situation with only one key! $450.00 from BMW and six weeks to get from Germany! So any other solutions available?? Keys with chips are cheap it's the programming that costs the big bucks!! JIM
