thanks @Althulas it might be, inpa does recognise and communicate with the dsc in E46 mode on a fellow zed owners car, will give it a good read.

I don't think it is too difficult once in inpa, problem you will have is absolutely making sure your wheel is 100% in the straight position. Once in the module there should be a calibration button.
