Hi.
I recently had a wheel sensor replaced to fix a ABS issue and the ABS light is now off.
However I noticed that the DSC light was not lighting up on ignition so I removed the instrument cluster to find that the bulb was missing. I replaced the bulb and now the DSC light is on all the time (doh!!).
However when I had the garage fix the ABS they said that all my error codes were clear.
I have noticed that the DSC switch does not light up when I put my headlights on. Also when I press it I don't get any kind of click.
Is it possible that the switch is faulty and that it is turning off the DSC all the time hence why I am getting the light but not the codes.
Can I somehow disable the switch without disabling the whole system to test my theory.

Thx.
Maybe I didn't explain myself properly. I don't want to disable DSC or the warning light.
The garage told me when I got the wheel sensor fixed that there was no error codes outstanding.
I was wondering if it was possible that the DSC button was faulty and was stuck in the pressed position causing DSC to be turned off.
Does anyone know I way I can possibly test that the button isn't constantly causing the DSC light to be lit.

Only way you can be sure is to exchange it with a known working switch really. Maybe Andy @spurs fan in a coupe has one?

Tony.
