Hi all.
If my new rear DSC sensor doesn’t cure my ABS fault I’ll probably put a new driveshaft in rather than faff about changing the ring.
Can anyone recommend a brand to go with please?

Cheers.
Neil.

Changing the ring is easy.

Getting the driveshaft out is often the problem. On later cars the nut can fuse itself into the hub with rust and with that sorted, the CV can be rusted into the flange on the splines. Before you do anything else, see if the nut comes off and the CV joint moves when tapped inwards.

To be fair I've not seen an E36 or Z3 trigger ring that bad. It's the later sh*** like E90's etc that have trigger ring problems.

I’ve got a new sensor on order. Hoping it’s just that.
