I'm needing the electrical switch that operates the back and forward and up and down. The printed circuit board and switch part works but the plastic box it fits into is broken and dose not attach to the seat side trim the lugs have been broken off.
Wanted Drivers seat switch.

Common problem, usually resolved with a seat side panel replacement, but hard to find second hand as it means taking the seat apart and making it unsalable as a result.
I've not currently got any seats so tatty that I couldn't sell them - hence not got a unit to remove.
Hang in there though they do exist.
Not sure what BMW would charge for one.

Thanks I'm going to take this switch out and see if I can come up with an idea to sort it. Looking at the way it works is an awful design which to my way of thinking is bound to fail through wear and tear. But if I can't come up with a plan I will be in touch
