drivers door handle

Can anyone help, i have a problem with my offside door handle on the outside. It will only work if i lift it at the very back of the handle, Any ideas?

Try Lubricant ( wd40 etc) in the latching mechanism sometimes they can make the door hard to open unless you pull the handle right open try this first before delving into more major steps to repair.

Had this with mine, I did replace the small cable inside which made it better but still opens the door using the left end of the lift handle, I think its down to wear on the plastic nib on the internals that activate the lock that causes this. Its a door card off job to get the unit out and poking the locking slide across through the access hole on the edge of the door. How to on Youtube here

I thought it might be the cable, ordered a new one today. Thank you for posting the videos, it’s a great help.
