I have finally got around to investigating my driveline clunk when changing gears so we pulled out the diff and sent it off to be checked after my maintenance guy thought it was being caused by backlash in the diff. Diff is is spec unfortunately so it's not that.... any other ideas? This is almost the end of the z3 refresh project so I would like to get it right. We are out of ideas on this one.... we cannot find anything wrong or with play but with the roof up it's very apparent. It might be my imagination but it does seem to improve as it warms. I am probably just compensating my driving style. Gearbox and diff oil changed last week.
