I've always "liked" them -thought they were really cool and so on.... They are as rare as hens teeth here in Denmark unfortunately - so it will be an import = buying price + 66% tax :arghh:.

But the other night I saw Wheeler Dealers... and Mike Brewer bought a TVR Cerbera.... and OMG.. something happened inside me - I'm in love now...... must have precious!!!

So before I go out and sell the Zed - please tell me that I've lost my marbles, need urgent medical attention.... and that a TVR ownership will make my car budget even worse.

Truth is - I've always prefered "older models" - also when it comes to cars ;) - I'd love one of those - designwise I prefer the older Cerbera models with only one headlamp in each side.... Preferably in silver, dark grey or dark blue metallic - makes the car look even longer that it is in real life....
Interior should preferably be black or some kind of beige or brown'ish... maybe even blue...

You haven't lost it, they are a magnificent car. I will replace my zed with one eventually.

A truly British Sports Car, Ferdinand! The looks, the sound and the dizzy blond in the passenger seat!!!

My friend has a 5 litre Chimera and as you say they sound fantastic. Handling can be interesting at times, he's actually thinking of changing to a Z as the TVR isn't the sort of thing you can just get in and drive, lots of pre drive checks (especially oil) and it has failed on more than a few occasions! But I suppose it depends what you want to use it for, shows and odd runs out then its ok, weekends away etc perhaps not?

If you're interested I'll ask if he fancies an exchange, but honestly stick with the M..

I like the cerbera Keith.

My m is too special too me at the moment!

It was either a tvr or an m for me and as much as I love the sound of the tvr, driving it for a long distance might become annoying if stuck on a motorway for a while. I like a car I can get in when the sun shines and know it will work, not have to spend time fixing it and then miss a nice day out :)
