Dreaded spinning lock

The lock on my drivers door has just started turning round and round without locking/unlocking when using the key. Luckily it still locks on the fob though. Is this an easy fix without having to change to another lock and key?

Someone also had this recently. If you do a search it might come up.

If I remember is wasn't to bad a job to get fixed.
