Hi All
Hope I'm threading in the right area.
The dreaded ignition barrel spin is upon me. Key just turns and turns.
I've removed the old barrel. It's a
BMW 36272 BMW1.162.649 BMW1.092.782

And it's knackered.
Problem I'm facing now is where to get one without passing out.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Don't care if it's used.

Sid

Just out of curious, how much was it @abh29 ? And did you have to send your key to have it match to the new barrel? Apologies if this is a naive question!

The car has a chrome kit from original order , so required the chrome handle , cost was £200 including delivery. They did not require the key (just the vin number), they have all details from car build, and it worked perfectly. Took about 2 weeks to come from Germany,as its ordered to match the keys. I find Cotswold are very good , just say you are on BMWLand forum for discount. Annoys me my local dealer is not more helpfull, rather loose trade than give a discount.

My local dealer isn’t great either. Sopers in Lincoln are brilliant and I wholeheartedly recommend them.
