The bloody thing died, so I bought brand new one and relocated to the boot.
Took me like 3-4 hours of fiddling, including time spent attempting to reanimate old unit. Unfortunately it was fault in the pump, so new one in.
Fiddly, unconvinient, but certainly doable for amateur mechanic. I wish I had smaller hands though, some bits was very hard to tackle, there is no space whatsoever.
Shame the carpet hasn't arrived yet.
