I'm not sure if it's just me, but the Z3M just doesn't feel like it's running very well at the moment. I'm not sure what it is, but at full throttle it just doesn't seem to be pulling very well, almost as if the throttle isn't completely open. I'm not sure if it's just me being paranoid, but I've had a number of minor things happen recently which has made me extremely sensitive to anything!
I've not had a chance to investigate it yet, but here are some things I'm thinking of checking:
Check the plugs are all tight and their condition
Compression test
Check the throttle is fully open when pedal is fully pressed
Check the condition of the air filter
Check the condition of the lambda sensors (not sure if this would trigger an engine warning light if they failed)
After that I'm not really sure. Maybe run some injector cleaner through it, I'm just not sure what could be causing it. I had the Vanos done a couple of years ago so it may just be worth checking everything is tight.
Anyone got any ideas?
