Wanted Door speakers

Anybody have any door speakers ?
There are none in mine, somebody took 'em out.
Got to check out the rest to see if they are working ok.

OK, seems it was a bit of a silly request.
having looked at some forum/discussions on here.
It looks like a common problem that usually means a refit of the system
I'll do a check on the other speakers, I have a Sony Head unit which may not be compatible with the original spec so maybe that's part of the problem with the crap sound.

It’ll have a tiny tweeter and space for something slightly larger, 50mm maybe? I’ll check tomorrow, mine are stripped to do exactly that.

The doorcard on a zed 3 has 2x holes for tweeters 1 should have a tweeter fitted and the larger one will be empty.
That is unless you have the factory upgrade sound system then will be other way round but either way you will still only be using 1 of the speaker spaces in the upper door card.

Done.
Ordered some new JBL coaxial speakers.
Doing away with the component system.
May be a bit of a pain to install, re wiring, but it's simpler as a setup with existing Sony headset

I'm not sure on that Stephen, mine has drivers in both holes, one is a dome tweet, the other maybe about a 2" cone driver on a four pin plug, all original. Maybe there is an upgrade to the upgrade, dunno.. But I had mine disassembled to fix up the rust and oxidation on the grilles. A handy tip : Stove black works really well on them, its thin enough to wick into the fine mesh without clogging it, andthe finish once dry looks original..
