Hi

I’m trying to find a way of cleaning up the door sill trim. Any ideas on how best to this?

Cheers

@Mazza did some investigation work on the entrance plates a while ago but I cannot find thread at moment.

Mine were looking tatty, so I bought a polishing wheel set from Screwfix or Toolstation, and cleaned off all the lacquer and corrosion and they polished up ok. Then just a wipe over occasionally ( or in my case very occasionally)

Mine look the same as this.
I’ve taken them off the plastic using some tooth floss. They’re held down with double sided foam tape.
I’m going to sand them back using 1200 grit and finer paper then use the left over polishing kit I got for the headlights to buff them up.
That’s the plan anyway.
