Hi Can anyone help with an inner door pull handle for o/s door in black ? My vehicle is a 2001 model Z3 2.2 with electric mirrors (adjustment from door pull handle).

Hi Mick

These are a common failure and an expensive replacement as a result. Some have had success with repairs, but it depends how far gone yours is.

My handle is in tact but feels loose I suspect the lower attachment point has failed but have not investigated as yet. Do you have a spare ?

They usually fail at the top attachment. It may be a silly question but have you checked the screws are both tight?

On closer inspection I think a repair is possible. the lower attachment point is loose but I hope to pack out discreetly with a plastic spacer. Given the suspected high cost of replacement I don’t think mine is ready for the bin yet.
